Data We Process
ExpenSheet processes the receipt and invoice images you upload only to produce the text-recognition (OCR) results you requested. Content such as file names, vendor names, and amounts is not sent as analytics event parameters. OCR output is converted into a table and into the files you download in your browser; images are not permanently stored on our servers after processing.
Service Providers and International Transfer
To read your uploaded images, we use the document-recognition services of Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Images are sent to these providers only to produce the OCR result and are not stored by us. These providers may process data on servers outside your country; such transfers take place under the relevant provider's security and contractual safeguards.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential cookies support security, language selection, quota, and cookie-preference functionality. GA4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after analytics consent. Your analytics choice is stored on your device under “expensheet_consent”. Google AdSense may load site-wide; advertising consent and personalization choices are managed by Google's certified consent management platform (CMP).
Google Analytics 4
GA4 loads only after analytics consent. It receives anonymized product events such as page views, file uploads, OCR success/error, and exports. We do not send file names, vendor names, or exact monetary values.
Microsoft Clarity
Clarity loads only after analytics consent. It is used for session improvement, click/navigation signals, and technical error analysis.
Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies
ExpenSheet uses Google AdSense to show automatic ads across the site. Google's certified CMP collects advertising storage and personalization choices in applicable regions and communicates the relevant signals to Google. AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies for ad measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted.
Your Rights
Under KVKK article 11, you may request information about whether personal data is processed, the purpose of processing, recipients in Turkey or abroad, correction or deletion, objection to processing, and compensation for damages. Under GDPR articles 15-21, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
Changing Preferences
You can change analytics preferences at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. Advertising choices are managed through Google's consent message where it is shown. If you clear browser cookies, you may be asked to choose again.
